Trig Exam Review !

Today we reviewed Trigonometry for the exam. We will be reviewing a different units each class before exams.

*Reminder that our block 3 exam is on Tuesday, January 25th from 9:10 till
12:10 in the resource center

As a class we went over question 6 on page 127 from the textbook.

We also went over question 13 on page 125

EXAM FORMAT

So, exams are in a week. Yay!...NOT!! Today, Mr. Maksymchuk talked about what the exam is going to look like. He said about 2/3 of the exam will be multiple choice, and the rest will be long answer. He showed us what will be on the formula sheet, and he talked about what he expects from us in terms of our mark on the exam, and in the course. Hopefully everyone is close to having their accelerated math finished, if not, then try to get it done before the course is over!! He went over a couple questions from chapters we did at the start of the semester. Above is all the notes from today, and at the bottom of the write-up is the video from today.

Radicals "Fractonal Exponents"

Today Mr. Maksymchuk taught us more about Radicals. He gave us a Homework assignment and will be checking it tomorrow. The Homework assignment: 4.4-pg. 236 #1 and 2

Parallel and Perpendicular lines

Today Mr. Maksymchuk showed us how to create an equation that is parallel to a line or perpendicular to a line. It was also the last class that he would be teaching us about our unit. Tomorrow he is going to teach us about radicals.

Today since Mr. Maks was sick we are not learning a new thing today. He showed us a website about Linear Equations. We cant use this site unless you have Java but i will post the link anyways.
